Faster 5k
Let’s get you a 5k PB with the 8 week Faster 5k program!
DESCRIPTION
2 x 4 week phases with relevant resting at certain points.
Each phase combines endurance, lactic acid tolerance work and speed intervals to help you breakthrough your 5k running plateau.
Each week contains three sessions to complete of which two are essential with the third being a bonus if you have time.
FITNESS LEVEL
You must be able to cover 5km without stopping whether that is running or jogging.
REQUIREMENTS
A pair of trainers!
A heart rate monitor is highly recommended as in a GPS watch but the program can be completed with just a stopwatch provided you are able to accurately measure distance.
